(T)HUIS, is a video essay about my childhood and my experience with moving as a child. I speak about the struggles I faced moving to a different country and what it was like “coming home” after a couple years in a different country. Now years later I look back and reflect if it was a good thing that happened to me.

THERE IS ALWAYS DANCE IN ABUNDANCE
THERE IS ALWAYS DANCE IN ABUNDANCE, is a documentary research project made while studying under Filipa Cesar and Diana McCarty at Merz Akademie. It was produced in the context of the ÜBER:MORGEN Festival Stuttgart and the Art Prize Future of Europe, GfZK Leipzig.
For this film I worked as one of the Directors and Cinematographers. During the post-production I was responsible for the color grading.
In this film a group of time travellers from the distant future, where emotions are now a subscription service and the concept of genders is long gone, travel back to the year 2022 to explore these concepts and rethink their future.

The Oldest profession
THE OLDEST PROFESSION, tells the story of Mila and Eva, two woman with a completely different background. They find themselves paired up to help each other integrate into society. This film was made for a school project with my Project partner Filipa Duarte. We both wrote, directed, did the cinematography and edited the film.

THIS IS ME, is a self portrait film. It shows who I am and what I like. The film was originally made for my audition to the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart, Germany where I got accepted in July 2020.

This is a small video of my vacation to Norway in Febuary 2022
eye catchers
LATE NIGHT DRIVE, shows an evening drive coming home during an evening rush on the autobahn. Eventhough this experience is universally hated, this film shows that even then it can be beautiful.

CHRISTMAS MARKET, is another EYE CATCHER short film. This film is an impression of the Christmas market in Stuttgart, Germany.

LOVE BRIDGE, was made during my stay in Amsterdam. While I was interning there I got a job as a tour guide on one of the canal tour boats. The job came with some perks, one of them was sailing the Amsterdam canals for an hour in the evening while going to the harbour to end our work day.
